This is a project Timothy Crowder and I put together to showcase "handshaking" (interfacing) between a CNC milling machine and a 5-axis robotic arm. The goal was to be able to feed blocks to a robotic arm that would then be processed by a CNC machine and stored later, without any human interaction. In an real-world setting, this would likely be applied to automated part manufacturing, part finishing, or custom engraving.
